ITT we discuss the unrequited romance (with the occasional possibility of the date at Gold Saucer) between Cloud and Barret.
I’ll start.
Remember at the beginning, when the group first meets back at Tifa’s bar, the 7th Heaven? Cloud is about to walk out the door, then Barret comes barging in. Cloud gets embarrassed and jumps like 2 feet in the air, and sits on the table, with legs crossed firmly. Is that to hide his boner? He just sits that way, not even turning towards the conversation that then happens, as if he’s stuck in some humiliating arousal. And Barret’s always talking about Cloud’s ass! Spiky ass, skinny ass, etc.

I`ve already decided to do not respond to such threads… But I guess, I`ll make an exception here….

I dont agree with your theory. Though I may consider it had you said Kuja. Barret’s not the gay type imo. Too much of a father figure. Cloud doesn’t come off as personally gay either, and neither does anyone on ffviii. Edea is just lonely. Quistis, Rinoa, and Selphie are all obviously in love with the same guy so they have an underlying grudge for each other, and dont really want to work together. How would you feel if your name was Zell Dincht and you just got accused of being gay on a message board from another world?

i don’t think anyone from FF8 is gay… Squall is just anti-social which is why he doesn’t talk to people much, besides that him and Rinoa kiss and hug each other a lot. Zell idk he’s just hyper. I can’t say he likes anybody but i doubt he’s gay, he just likes to show off. Irvine i really doubt.. I mean he’s got long hair and stuff, but he obviously loves the woman, just look at him and Selphie.
