This is a cd with mixed tracks from different movie scores that the great Stewart Copeland has composed.

:smrt: I’m sure most of you know that this was the guy who also wrote the music to the Spyro the Dragon game series, and you will undoubtedly recognise his style in this album as well; it sounds alot like the Spyro music, only a little more, well, mature. Fans will not be disappointed :coolegg:

Please post a thank you if you download. It contributes to a nice atmosphere as well as it gets you post count up :p

Unfortunately this is all movie music by Copeland that I have. If anyone can direct me towards the faintest hint of a possibility to obtain the rest, I’d be eternally grateful…

1. Became founder and very excellent drummer for The Police
2. Documented the band’s rise to the top for a film, "Everyone Stares".

Anyway, thank you for the songs. 🙂

I vaguely knew of The Police, although I chose not to include that because of 1) my limited knowledge (and interest :p) of that band (I had never heard about it before I looked Copeland up on Wikipedia; I have never listened to any of their work), and 2) most people here are interested primarily in vgm and movie scores anyway.

You’ve never heard the song "Roxanne"? "Don’t Stand So Close To Me"? "Every Breath You Take"? Shame on you.

yes, this is a place for mainly video game and movie music, but if you want more people to download this, you should mention that, as there ARE Police fans here.

Ok ok I’m SORRY:whatever: Really, I recognize the titles, but I can’t recall the songs. My brain simply does not care to remember music that I don’t find interesting.

I wrote a forum post, not an essay, get over it :whatever:. Since when did we start picking on people when they take the time to upload stuff?

I wasn’t picking on anyone.

Who said you wrote an essay?

Funny, I felt picked on though.

Who said you wrote an essay?

I sure didn’t.

wah, sweet upload! i’m a big fan of spyro music 🙂 I, in fact, got to know The Police from investigating what other stuff had Copeland composed… i was kind of freaked out when i found out that his main rol in life was to be the drummer of The Police xD. But on curiosity i got some stuff from them and i loved them! 😀 Teblad, you should give them a try, they’re a great band, and they hook from the first listen 🙂 If you want I can upload a greatest hits album, so you and the rest of the forumers (forumers? wtf is that word? O.o) can check them out…

If i find something else by Copeland i’ll shout it out here 🙂 (though i see it difficult… xP)

Can you reupload it please?

It’s strange, i had no problems with the download… :-/

The soundtrack he made for Spyro was good, although i’m pretty sure the music in the 3 hubs in the second Spyro game aren’t original work….
