ok i went and defeated bahamut and left. when i came back i saw the big hole and the new path and everything for ultima weapon, but i cant climb down it. anyone know if i missed something or have to do something else first or…what?

Uhh…So you still had 20 RSP at the start? Did you have at least 10 before Ultima?

i didnt get that far. im standing in front of the hole and pressing x to climb down and nothing happens.

edit: i got to it, apparently you need to go break into pandora with ragnarok before you can go back and fight him.

ps i totally raped him

No you dont. I beat Ultima Weapon before breaking into the Lunatic Pandora. Maybe you weren’t standing in the right place when you pressed X the other times.

I remember the 1st time playing FF8…years ago…ultima assraped me over and over again.

is there a save point next to the hole? if theres not then leave and come back and there should be a way down. this happened to me.

yea i did leave and come back. many times actually and the hole was there, but not the green treelike thing that you climbed down. so i said forget it and after the first point of progression in the story (which was LP for me), i went back and sure enough it let me down there.

everywhere i looked said ‘just leave and come back’ and for me it wasnt that simple.

Kind of odd but leaving and coming back worked for me.
