A training session that turns into a fierce battle. An intense cutscene. It seems to me that Genesis took this training session to seriously.
I know, it seems that Genesis pissed him off or something. Turns out it was only a VR training room. If it were real, man look at the damage S and G wrought.
It really fits fangirls… When I saw that scene my eyes turned so big and I even started writing to my firend like I was insane… Man, Genesis and Sephiroth are so damn cool!!!
No offense to anyone that likes him. Heh.
Thanks
Thanks
Understood. I’m sorry, I’m still new to this.
And Genesis was so damn hot in that scene… I`m still dreaming him at night!!!

So am I.. I think we all are. Shame we have to wait until next year. Does anyone know if there is a confirmed release date or it has yet to be announced.
It would be too complicated to explain it here. It would be better if you played Crisis Core and found out as you progressed through the story. However..
Angeal is a member of SOLDIER. Original owner of the Buster Sword which was passed on to Zack, and eventually to today’s young hero Cloud. Not only was the sword inherited to the successor, but also the skills. Angeal was Zacks mentor. Thats all I know about him. As on why he has white angel wings? I think because he carries "G" cells or something. What are they? Play Crisis Core.
Genesis is simply, another Sephiroth. But I cant say for sure, and now Sephiroth fans. I meant in birth, not strength or anything. Genesis is a top Soldier born from G cells while Sephiroth, the hero originated from J cells. I think thats right, but thats all I know on him so far.

why didnt you just feed the lazy cunt some bullshit?
Then correct me then, ffvii fan. Simple is it not? There is no need to post such an irrational comment. And dont take this so seriously, I didnt play Crisis Core unlike you, so how would I have known?
LOL
i was referring to the prick you were answering. i havent played it either; i looked around on the internet for information on the game, which is quite readily available, which said prick would know if he bothered to look.

Oh I see, I apologize. It seems that I misinterpreted your last reply. I feel like an idiot now.
what for? dont.
on topic. what do you think of the truth behind angeal and genesis then? convoluted? interesting? i personally think they could have done more interesting things with them – corrupted lifestream and all that – but the dynamic between the three is the most interesting thing in the game, and it explains the wings too.
also, this cutscene pisses me off. its a bloody epic fight, but it merely takes place during VR training. copout. it would have been more impressive if they had wandered off to junon while off duty and this had actually happened in the real world.
I haven’t played Crisis Core yet (don’t know if I will b/c it’s so bloody expensive), but I hope it explains more about Jenova’s origins. After all, Jenova is the ‘crisis from the sky’, it would be fitting to have her as a key role in ‘Crisis’ Core… >_>
On the brighter side, it is cool to see how much of a bad ass Zack, as well as the other predecessors of SOLDIER, were.

most of the older characters like zack, lazard, hollander, angeal and genesis are turning out to be good characters. gast isnt involved, though, which is disappointing; of the scientists, we originally had hojo, lucrecia and gast introduced in FF7, and since then lucrecia and hojo have been expanded on and grimoire and hollander introduced, but gast has been largely ignored which is a disservice to an imporant character, although he didnt live long after aeris’ birth which is one reason why.
the jenova cetra war 2000 years previous would be a good thing to see – jenova and the cetras at the heights of their powers squaring off in the original battle that started the whole mess; but we know exactly what happens, and the ultimania has limited jenovas intentions, so it would make a pretty boring game.
On the contrary, before any of the FF7 compilations were made, one would think that any prequel or sequel to FF7 would be somewhat monotonous. Look what Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus have accomplished. By adding a few more characters (that eventually die off by the end of the game so they won’t interfere with the original FF7 storyline) as well as expanding on areas that you and I have not even thought of (i.e. DeepGround / Reactor 0), SQUARE-ENIX has churned out some pretty successful games (excluding minor details such as pitiful gameplay *cough*–DoC.. and soundtrack *cough* Crisis Core…).
I think that SQUARE-ENIX would add a few new storyline twists that no one would see coming to make it interesting, if not intriguing, to play. We all thought we knew what happened 5 years ago in that basement of the Shin-Ra Mansion, but Crisis Core set things straight. :smrt:
Maybe Jenova and Lavos from Chrono Trigger came from the same place? (Both did hit the planet like a meteor after all…)
Maybe the people of Spira (from FFX) are the decedents of the Cetra? (which is briefly noted in the FFVII Ultimania Guide..)
Or perhaps I’m just trying too hard to compile every awesome FF game… 😛

hmm, i hated DoC, i have it and i resent the fact that the fascinating tsviet centred online mode was omitted from the western releases, i didnt like the monotonous gameplay, i didnt like the hojo simulation thing, and there were other smaller flaws inherent to the game. i did like the tsviets though; deepground was a good idea, i agree. crisis core looks quite good so far; they’ve slotted lazard, hollander, angeal and genesis nicely into the story and made zack an even greater character then he previously was.
i also like the fact that crisis core restores all the events of nibelheim as told in FF7, as opposed to BC and LOs tellings.
jenova arrived on a meteor, and the people in FFX apparently came to the world of FF7 on a spaceship after the events of X, and left their technology there, as evidenced by the skyships in DoC.
the internet network thing was slipped in to add a sense of cyberpunk modernism to the world we already knew, and to allow for hojos soul to be imprinted or copied or whatever into the network, and for part of lucrecias to imprint itself onto shelke, both to add a certain significance for vincent to be involved, besides him wanting to save the world from secret super powered soldiers. it was a way to slide the personal story into proceedings, but it was done far too fake and forced and thats why i hated it.
Back to the topic of the cut scene – Can they fly without their wings extended? G and S were airborne for quite a while but what am I saying, was the same thing in AC and those guys couldn’t fly either — but still curious.
Too late.
