i really liked it, it did what it was trying to do effectively. cusack and jackson as ever succeed at Being Awesome and their conversation near the beginning is a wonderfully performed exchange of dialogue that builds the tension.

there were a few bits that didnt add up, such as why the fuck bow to cusacks pressure and let him stay, who sent the postcard etc. but it was good enough to not really matter too much. the ending was O_o

oh my, i was not able to watch this on big screen that’s why i’m waiting for the dvd.

I saw it, and I enjoyed it. You can definitely tell it is a piece of King’s work, but I’ve never thought of that as a bad thing.

I’m wondering if there are any parallels to be found in Silent Hill 4, besides the manifest concept.

I bet the book might be good. The movie kind of sucked.

First part of the movie was good, full of atmosphere and eerieness. Then the room started becoming a bit unbelievable, and after a certain *cough* "event", all of the long developed atmosphere went out the door.

Watch the first hour, then stop. Your imagination will be better than the last half.

though i’ve read some negative reviews about this film still gonna watch this on dvd.
