It was crap on the PSX aswell, so it makes no difference.
Apart from FFVII and FFVIII no Final Fantasy has apeard for the PC, and very likely it’ll never will. FF will only be released on consoles and handhelds.
(I’m not taking into account emulators).
FFVIII is better, but a PS2 FF game on the PC wouldn’t work due to the amount of memory it would need to store such a graphically advanced game.
I would like to see FFIX on the PC, since my PS2 no longer plays PS1 games and my PS1 is knackered. And FFIX is a brilliant game.
That would be Final Fantasy XI, honey.
Just to explain, that was one of my few gripes with FFIX. The official strategy guide wasn’t that useful, but instead had loads of links to the PlayOnline website, essentially forcing players to use it if they wanted a crack at the game’s best stuff.
No doubt Square made plenty of money in advertising profits there :rolleyes:
