i decided that since Square Enix changes FF every ten years (kids become adults) the change of FF was something natural
It’s the same that happened with ff7. The people who played since ff1 and now were something like 18 years old at the time,did not like ff7.However, people who had started ff with ff7 (like me back then) loved it, and the same applies to people who played a even earlier games .
I guess it’s natural for ppl to get bored of videogames ..and that happened to me at the age of 17-18 . I play games very rarely now.

Everything else is subjective, also yeah SE doesn’t give a shit about petitions .

they brought back the magic buying, the crystal obsession, and the story thing.

Sorry, but I have to agree that FFXII was a lot more like the past FFs with the whole story within a story.
IMO, FFX felt more away from the FF "style".

I’m glad you’re able to realize that there are going to be fans of almost everything that will ever be released by anyone, and not just Square. Respecting the opinions of others is important, as is holding onto those things that mean the most to you. VII-X will always be there for you, me and everyone 😀

i dont like 12, but i like kingdom hearts alot, 10 was the last final fantasy i played til the end and didnt even like it that much

I found XII to be the best FF. But maybe that’s because I’ve played so many different kinds of RPGs (let alone games in general) over the years and haven’t become attached to a particular "kind" of RPG or anything. I approach every game with certain expectations but enough of an open mind that if it’s not done the way I anticipated, I will just look at it from a "is this a good game in its own right?" point of view. I’m not saying that objectively FFXII is the best FF, period, that would be a weird thing to say, but rather that I simply look at it *as a game* not *as a FF game.* Prior to FFXII I liked FFVI most anyway 😛

Well… I can’t really agree with this. I too began with FF#1 and .. .. not only did I not have a hard time transitioning to FFVII, but.. i welcomed it with open arms and still, to this day, love the game.

I’ve played many of the FF games, and I do like most of them. FFVII is by far my favorite, but I am not adverse to any of the newer games. I gladly sign!

I respect you too MorgothErmis the fact is i started playing Final Fantasy VII first and then 8,10 ,and to 9. my favorite has to be 9.

you have my support I guess….(Although there are a FEW final fantasy’s I would like changed. I won’t name them. But those who are experianced final fantasy players might know which ones we’re refering to.)
