Full MGS2 BGMs

I have in my possession an extra DVD called "The Document Of MGS2" that came with my MGS2:Substance, in it are all the background music tracks in the game, excluding the in-FMV music (but those are already on CD)

They are all the BGMs from each specific area, including boss fights(ex: Title(menu), Deck-A Crew’s Quarters, Deck-A Crew’s Lounge,…,VS Olga Gurlokovich,…,VS Dead Cell,…,Rescue Emma,Escort Emma,..,Basic Actions(3 tutorial music tracks)) for a total of 29 tracks not counting Detect,Alert,Evasion,Caution BGMs for Snake and Raiden and VR Missions BGMs

Everything is hooked up so I just need to know if this has already been uploaded before.

If not so there’s some info I need:

*in what quality should I encode the mp3s (192kbps or over? which one?)

*ID3 Tag is all set but how should i name the filenames?
"TRACK# – TRACKNAME.mp3" is a good solution methinks.

*Megaupload is hoster, right?

*What’s the recommended fade out time?

no no! those are BGMs that are heard during the cutscenes, the ones are have are the actual backgroung music that you hear while you can move around in the game, i don’t think they have been released (all of them at least) since they don’t even have any fancy names like Vamp’s Dance or Countdown to Disaster, simply names like "Strut F Warehouse" and such. Some tracks may be similar or sometimes the same. For example there’s a track called "Scentless Bomb Search" that sounds like "Countdown To Disaster" but the composition is very different (especially because the tracks I have are meant to be looped rather than to played just once).

you use winzip to make them into a zip file. and you can use the wizard to do that.

and than you go to: http://www.megaupload.com/

and upload them to that website, and than copy the link and paste it here.

but other people have other methods. that’s the one i use.

No, only BGMs from the original game.

I’m back so I should be doing this soon, what bitrate should I use?

Those ARE bgm’s from the original game. All except the ones titled "Document" anyway. The Documix album is not complete though. It doesn’t have ALL of the songs that are missing from Sons Of Liberty & The Other Side. Specifically the songs from VR and Alternative missions from Substance. From VR, it only has two tracks: Dark Evasion and Tuxedo Snake (Sneaking).

Anyone! "The Champ," are you saying that you have those missing tracks that even the Documix album does not have?

i have heard all the mgs2 songs accept 2. the chilling piano song that plays right after emma is stabbed and you speak to snake and otacon on the CODEC.

i guess if you were to rip that you would have to tap x so that the song plays but stops the voices.

and the jingle that plays after you sucessfully complete the VR bosses.

Yeah, that’s the Documix album. It’s missing some songs, and I know because I thoroughly played the game.
