Final Fantasy IX OST lossless (flac or something)

hi mates, ive been looking all over for the Final Fantasy IX OST on lossless, but i cant find it anywhere 🙁 if it is already posted somewhere, i apologize!

if not, would it be possible to request it here if anyone has the original cds and cared to share? thanks alot!

I’ve also been searching long and hard for a lossless rip of Final Fantasy IX. I’ve never seen either the OST or the Plus CD.

If anybody has this, please do the internet a favor and make it known!

Yeah, fast_eddie seems to be dead or something, he hasn’t been around here in something like 3 or 4 months. 🙁 I’m always hoping that those that have the original CD(s) might upload it in FLAC [lossless] but not everyone’s so willing, that’s understandable since the files sizes are fairly big and that would make for a long upload.

I don’t think that people understand just how wonderful a format FLAC is. Unlike other formats (Mp3, WMA, other lossless encoders) FLAC is part of the rare few that you can decode back into it’s original PCM data (identical to CD) and then re-encode it to whatever format suites you, or one that’ll will work on their portable media devices.

So as not to get anymore off topic, I too am looking for Final Fantasy IX OST in FLAC. I’ve also been looking for Final Fantasy Tactics in FLAC format (PS2 version, not DS version). Maybe one of you guys might have it (?). Anyone?

You can get this from EmuParadise. You have to download each song individually but they are FLAC.

I can possibly upload it if anyone deems it necessary.

Today I’ve been listening to an mp3 album I’d found in here, sounds ok (lossy but ok anyways) except my favorite track titled ‘Cleyra’s Trunk sounds awful (the file seems damaged). I’d rather find it lossless. Any hint how could I do this? (apart from downloading the whole album)
