its nothing like crystal chronicles, its a proper ff game. full menu, battle sequences and stuff like that. the system is probably closest to the dresssphere’s but you dont switch mid fight.

No, FFIII isn’t hard at all. As long as you’re not way underleveled or have some ridiculous party setup (four white mages, lol) you should do fine.

This game is amazing. I’d not played any classic Final Fantasy’s for a few months, bought myself this to complete my collection and haven’t put it down since. I love the graphics on it, they’re surpisingly good for the DS to be honest.

It’s a fun game to play and has a job system similar to but not as good as FFV’s, but in this game you get to see where the job system starts. As already mentioned, it has some sweet graphics for a DS and Refia’s (one of the characters) expressions are fun to watch. If you enjoy classic Final Fantasies, you’ll like this one.

I honestly didn’t enjoy it at first, but that was completely my fault. Who in their right mind levels all the jobs to 99 for all 4 characters? Thankfully, I stopped doing that after the Wind crystal and really fell in love with the game.

Everyone talks about Refia, but it’s Arc who’s flat out fantastic 😀

I have, but the operative phrase there is "in their right mind", so I guess that disqualifies me. There isn’t even any logical reason to do it, as the benefits don’t carry over. It is more akin to FFX-2’s dressphere system than FFV’s job system. That did nothing to discourage my disease-addled mind, though.
