I’m very interested in this game. Currently I plan to rent this game but I don’t know if I will beat it or buy it. This is because it’s a first person shooter with rpg elements, and I don’t like first person shooters. What do you think of these reviews? 🙂

I played the xbox live demo and game seems pretty good so far. The graphics are amazing. Ive read some reviews and the game is being praised for gameplay but Ive read alot beyond gameplay. I think people really like bioshock because of the setting, story and the morale choices you face while playing it. The shooting from what Ive seen isnt too spectacular. The plasmid system seems cool, but looks like it gets boring. I might get the game this week.
I’m looking forward to the game release.

I wonder how it compares to…
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy XII, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario? Those are the other super ultimate 2006 and 2007 rpg’s out so far, besides pc and handheld games. Look out for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect for later this year.
I think Zelda: TP may have been the most overall successful rpg of last year(critical reviews, user reviews, sales, fame/legacy). This year it will probably be Mass Effect, although Bioshock could be as well.
