Anime soundtracks

I love anime but i dont know what soundtracks to get

here are my anime favorites : IRIA, DRAGONBALL Z, NARUTO, AFRO SAMURAI, TENCHI MUYO, INUYASHA, FULL METAL ALCHEMIST,SPIRITED AWAY, APPLESEED : old and new versions, KARAS, FIST OF THE NORTH STAR, AND NINJA SCROLL

so where should i start?

My favorite music is : Rap , r n b, pop, reggae, new age, alternative.

Soundtracks don’t necessarily fit well into traditional music genres. When you’re watching, say, Naruto, do you notice that you really like the themes and BGM? If so, that’s where you should start. Any soundtracks that you think you’d like to listen to over and over again.

Why don’t start with Cowboy Bebop?

Does anybody have any other suggestions, are the naruto soundtracks any good , cause i love the series.

Love the Naruto soundtracks – you’ll recognize all the songs on there from the series (but there’s some songs that haven’t been released). I also listen to Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex a lot. The Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist soundtracks are pretty good, too.

soundtracks nowadays have no quality of OLDER stuff
i spent more time listening old anime soundtracks then newer.
an the thing HATE now, are the openings and endings.
backtime we had great musics some times were the seiyu’s who sung. now it looks like publicity for the bands. i hate naruto’s endings, but the openings are fine. really. good soundtrack:
patlabor the movie, armitage III, shoryuden, Outlaw star, bronze, macross.
there are lot of anime soundtracks "oldies" that i love and spent hours hearing. i wish i could spent hours hearing birdy the mighty, but unfortunately, i cant find anywhere. it’s my nemesis. i will never have the two osts.
nowadays, soundtracks i like:
Applessed the movie, ergo proxy, howls moving castle, my hime, and some more. but its not the same.

Grrrr! There was some sort of new anime TV series that I saw only a part of (ummmm :erm:) on IGN, before shutting it off I got to listen to some of the music, which was pretty good, but now I can’t remember the series or where on IGN that I found it. I’ll keep search then I’ll request it.

There’s also…Full Metal Alchemist, Patlabor, Lupin the 3rd, Saint Seiya, Texhnolyze, Eureka seveN.

I dunno, it’s hard to recommend anime music to someone who listens to what you do. You should broaden your horizons.
