Whats the use of the canopic jar?

Yesterday I decided to spend most of the gil I had to get the canopic jar but I cant find much use for it. What are you supposed to do with the arcana? Is it good for the bazaar in some way?

I haven’t boughten any expensive weapons yet like the Tournesel, should I have saved the money for something like that that?

The arcana are required to make a few things,

frstly you need them to make hermes sandals,
and secondly you need them to make high arcana,
10x Arcana, 1x Feystone, 1x Soul of THamasa = High Arcana
When you go to buy it in the bazaar it will be called Life Crystal and it costs 9999.

These are required for two imprtant items. Serpentarius and empyrean Souls.
Both these items along with gemsteel are required for the tournesol……

thanks, it seems I would have a lot harder of time getting the tournesol if I didn’t have the ability for all enemies to drop arcana. So I guess I kind of have to buy it if I want a Tournesol anyway.

yeah thats about the jist of it, but believe me , the arcana is by far the easiest thing on the tournesol shopping list
