Some Pokemon are gone in existance

I just found the website on Pokemon then as I discover the pokedex. Some of the Pokemon are gone in existance (like Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and some) and being replace to new pokemon. Is this the change regarding for Diamond & Pearl Version? Also, for Battle Revolution as well?

Well, seeing as it’s only a game, as long as you remember them they still exist, right?

Every pokemon ever created still exists in the Diamond/Pearl Pokedex.

Well, Ok. I’ll go play some Pokemon games from the GBC & GBA. But, I can play that game from DS, too, once I claim the Nintendo DS.

Except that MissingNO. did have a PokeDEX entry in Ru/Sa/Em.
