Well, lately I’ve been playing back through this game (trying to make the most kick-ass progress out of it yet! ^_^), and since I finally decided to actually go and get all of these cards, I was wondering, is it true that Martine – who is sitting by the Mayor’s house in Fisherman’s Horizon wallowing in his own filth and shame – has ALL the Level 8 cards? Someone a while back told me. And for the record, I’m on Disc Two…
I don’t really want to waste time playing him for cards he might not even have, so I’m asking you guys. Oh, and by the way, I’m FireFox516. First post here.

Whoever told you that was off by one level. Martine has all of the Level 7 boss cards (which are valuable, but hardly unique like the level 8 cards), as well as Ifrit, if you lost it to Caraway in order to get Rinoa’s card.

yes you can still get the Rinoa card. you just have to wait till you an actually pilot the garden. Then just travel to Deling City, go to caraways mansion, purposely lose your Ifrit card to caraway, then go back to FH and go play Martin again to win your Ifrit card back.
