Hi, I’m a user from the Qgears forums (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?board=12.0). We’re working on rebuilding the FF7 game engine using the original game data from the PSone version, from scratch. In doing this, although the project is still very young and progress is slow, we hope to make a more stable version of FF7 available to PC platforms, and hope that the engine could go further than FF7 itself.

Recently, as in a few days ago, one of our top developers left Qgears to work on his own project which is to create an RPG creator which allows you to make your own RPG with the functionality of the Final Fantasy for the PS1. You can read more about that here (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=6829.0). Right now, we desperately need more programmers to help with Qgears.

If you are a programmer, or are in any way interested in this project, then please visit here for more info (http://q-gears.sourceforge.net/). Or go to the Qgears forums (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?board=12.0). Thank you.
