Hey everyone, I am here to post this petition for a soundtrack for Avatar: The Last Airbender.

If you have watched the show then you know that the music for the show is incredible and while shows like Spongebob have multiple soundtracks other shows that deserve a soundtrack, such as Avatar, doesn’t have one.

If you want to listen to a sample of the wonderful soundtrack then listen to the music in the following sites:

http://www.myspace.com/thetrackteammusicandsound

http://myspace.com/thetrackteam2

Recently it came to my attention that there is no way of purchasing the wonderful music created for this show. Having spoken with The Track Team on myspace I’ve found that the release of a CD is out of their hands and solely in ours, the fans. What this means is we have to convince Nickelodeon to release on OST. So I have taken it upon myself to scour the Internet and find any reasonably active forum pertaining to Avatar and pleading with fellow fans to sign the petition below. If you believe that we can make a difference and get a soundtrack released for this show then please go to the link and sign. I should note that I am working with the members of IMDB, seibertron.com, The Avatar Portal, Avatar Spirit and DongbuFeng.net on this.

We have also rounded up all contact links to Nickelodeon if people would rather take a more direct route. Below you’ll find all ways of contact and also a formal letter that can be mailed to Nick to have your voice heard.

Dear Nickelodeon,

This letter is in response to the lack of an officially released soundtrack for Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show is a major accomplishment in animated programming, and the orchestrated tracks that accompany each episode are an equal accomplishment and deserve to be published in an uncut compilation. The soundtrack would be a wonderful way of enjoying the program when it is not being aired on television and I think many fans would jump at the opportunity to buy a copy. I also believe it would be equally worthwhile to release the soundtrack alongside the DVDs of season two and beyond.

Sincerely,

I thank you all for your time and hope to see some signatures! If you have any questions please ask. Also. If you know of or are a member of other forums beside the ones written above and would like to post this there, by all means do so. I’m no longer alone in this endeavor but you can never have enough exposure for something like this.

I know most of you don’t believe in online petitions, I agree for the most part however if we print out the petition in full and mail it to Nick then they might seriously consider publishing a soundtrack (if hundreds do this of course)…

Also, if you support a soundtrack then please put the link to the petition in your signature.

Once again, thank you for your time and I am sorry for the wall of text.
