PENANCE!!!

Hi i am stuck with this Penance.I already have Tidus,Wakka,Rikku,Yuna boots up all their stat to 255 except luck.But I just cannot beat this Penance.Anyone got idea how to beat it without using Zanmato(Already beat it with Zanmato but wanna try to beat it with my char instead).Btw my hp is not 99999 only 9999.

You need a minimum of 40,000 hp before you even consider penance.

Sad T_T… Is there no way to beat it using 9999 HP?Because built up HP is quite time consuming and must use clear sphere to reset other stat.Btw how many luck is needed so that the attack never miss on Penance?

You need luck levels over 120.

Eliminating the arms takes precedence over other tasks, and it must be performed using Quick Hits.

If u have these abilities attached to your armours: Auto-Haste, Auto-Protect, Def +20 and Auto-Potion, then you stand a fighting chance against Penance even w/out Break HP Limit. Just make sure no arms get a turn by executing the Quick Hit command, as this armour is not setup to properly defend against them.

Def +20 should suffice in lessening the dmg dealt upon you by Obliteration to less than 9999 for the time being. As long as there’s a stock of potions that’s solely X-Potions, the Auto-Potion ability will automatically heal you to full-health every time you get hit w/out wasting a turn. However, Def+20 and Auto-Protect won’t be enough to protect your characters from Immolation later on. This is where Rikku’s mix is gonna save you. Make sure you carry several Light Curtains and Healing Springs on you as these are the ingredients for the Ultra Nul All mix. Immolation can also inflict Full Break on your characters, so Dispel the effects before he performs it again.

You need to get auto phoenix, after you get that you cannot lose

Great!! with right strategy i can defeat Penance with ease Just using auto abilites like DuguWudi mention plus combination of Trio of 9999 to make potion=xpotion and a Three Star to reduce QuickHit mp consumption to 0 and Penance become a joke.I think there is no need for auto-phoenix since you won’t die using this strategy.The feeling after beat it was so good^^

Well, I’m glad. After all, you’ve just slayed perhaps arguably the toughest superboss in the FF series. Tough to the point where soloing him and fighting him at low-levels, as hardcore players have demonstrated with Ruby Weapon/Emerald Weapon, Omega Weapon, Ozma, Yiazmat, literally becomes impossible. Not to mention the amount of training and the kind of opposition you had to face in order to unlock him.

I did a stat Maxing once and I couldn’t bothered even killing Dark Anima. (or were those the Magus Sisters?) Anyway Try to get the HP as high as possible (over 9999 of course).

DAMN……I went to check out this Penance guy on YouTube and…..DAMN!!!!
