Northern Crater Problems

Hey guys & gals, Im new to the forum, so Heyyyyyyy =]

Im having a problem with a part of the northern crater.

At the split in the path there are 2 bits of rock to climb up and down to get out of the northern crater, except when i approach the rock to climb up, it wont let me.

Has anyone else had this problem with it or is it just me?

Try standing a bit to the left/right of the rocks. With the games annoying camera and controls on the field your position can sometimes prevent you from climbing. Failing that, try and make Cloud face a little to the left/right whilst standing infront of the rocks.

Sometimes the controls just make it hard to navigate, but eventually it’ll work.

D:> I’m having this problem too. I’ve been dancing around that forsaken rock for hours hitting "confirm" repeatedly and well… no dice. I came down to level up my materia a few years ago, and I just now decided to take another shot at Emerald Weapon, but I can’t get out! >.<;;
