I like Hikari. It’s a peaceful and well done melody.
But I’ll go with Passion too. It’s a lot more lively and epic.

The PlanitB remix of Hikari is pretty awesome (the short version, that is–the full version is just repetitive and the intro is awful), but even then I’d put Passion over it. There’s a lot more going on in the song.

I’m gonna go with Hikari. It doesn’t feel anywhere near as slow as Passion does (assuming we’re still talking about the orchestral versions), and it doesn’t seem to be so darn dramatic.
Also, hearing Hikari just brings up a lot of good memories of the first game for me. Passion… Not so much.

Passion wasn’t really sad… It started a bit slow at first, and then it turned into a song that gives you energy. Well, I think Passion is by far the better song. No matter which versions you compare.
