Final Fantasy II/Possible Final Fantasy IX song question

I started playing Final Fantasy II for the first time and I noticed a strangely familiar song, the Rebel Army Theme that plays near the beginning of the game. I knew I had definitely heard it somewhere, I thought it was from Final Fantasy IX but I’ve looked through that soundtrack and can’t seem to find it. Here’s a link to the FF2 version of the song:

This song exists in a few ff games. this is a good strategy from Nobuo Uematsu, i like it, because you said, you know this song and you could remember you�ve heard it once before. Thats the way, aha aha, i like it!!!!! :naughty:

No, that is a lie, the Rebel Army’s Theme does not exist in any other Final Fantasy than the second. I don’t know why you would ever think that, since it is not true.

There is an orchestra version, though (an absolutely brilliant at that, as well) found on the Symphonic Suite Final Fantasy.

The ninth installment does have the Gurgu Volcano theme from the first Final Fantasy, though. Maybe that’s what you’re thinking…

Well, of course you’ve heard it somewhere, but not in any other game. And Symphonic Suite is an album with orchestral arrangements from the first FF and the second.

You�re right Cool man, i permuted the staff roll theme, in maybe each FF Game, with the Rebel Army Song! In the staff roll theme is a short part which to be found in maybe each FF-Game! Here is the link to that song:
