escape into the park 2007

so, i went to escape into the park 2007. singleton park, near swansea, one day dance festival, around 14,000 people turned up, i went with about 25 mates from chester including my mate gem who lives somewhere near ammanford and all her mates. stayed at her house too, lush, had a pool table and a trampoline and shit.

main stage – saw fedde le grand who was pretty grand, guetta who was alright but a bit too electro, morillo who blew my fuckin mind, was mint, and calvin harris who was shit. just a bit ambitious having a fucking disco band headlining a rave festival. raveology tent – saw tc, friction, fabio and andy c, all were class, great atmosphere too everyone was well up for it, and the MC’s were good too. gods tent – saw adam sheridan, mint, above and beyond, played my favourite tune three times in a row, synaesthasia, oh my god, eddie halliwell, banging but a bit more trance then normal, and 2 minutes of jules before we went to main stage again. shapeshifters were good, the contagious stage was mint too, tribal drums, tiny stage but mint. went on some ride too comin up, wonderful, mate had a fag on it too well funny. 3 pills in halves, first time ever, loved it, threw a bit of a whitey on the way back but it was alright.

I’m glad you had a good time. I also got to experience my favorite artist live in concert recently, so I know what a thrill it is to see someone perform upfront.

who’s that then zulu? i wanted to go to reading or leeds this year – kings of leon, gogol bordello, bloc party, arcade fire, nine inch nails, pumpkins, bronx, mad caddies, chillis, gossip, the shins, billy talent (seen them twice, great band), ash, the subways, we are scientists (seen them too, would like to again though) biffy clyro, dinosaur jr, jamie t – WHAT a fuckin line up, thats just the bands i want to see theres loads that would probably impress the fuck out of me, oh well, maybe next year!!!!!!!

dance festivals are good though, want to go to global this year too, doubt ill have the money though
