Bubblegum Crisis, anyone?

Does anyone like the anime series "Bubblegum Crisis"? I kinda like it =3…the soundtrack is great! How about you guys? Any fans of the series?

I’m not that much of a fan, but I have seen it which was years ago (the last two episodes). Still a little confused as to how it ended…

I love BGC to death, but there’s really not enough material to make for good conversation. Of course, I’d love to see someone prove me wrong and make this topic interesting.

saw a random ep of the old. and borrowed a dvd of the new. the new one is shiny. 😀

I really enjoyed Bubblegum crisis as well as the A.D. Police spin-off. From what I heard many believe the A.D. Police TV program to be one of the worst ever made. After watching it I’m beginning to think that we were watching different shows. It’s no Evangelion, but it’s not terrible either.

Anyone else see the A.D. Police spinoff?

I just found the torrent for it but I saw a bit on AOL videos. it looked ok…Im going to dl an episode just to test it.

One of the better aspects of the original BGC series is how well each episode stood on its own. One could easily just watch one and not feel left out.

Unfortunetly I noticed that with A.D. Police you really had to commit to the whole series. The first half is pretty cookie cutter buddy cops in the future fare that really doesn’t start to get good until the middle. The turning point is very noticible too, which also happens to be one of the best episodes of the series and very memorable.

I’ve heard it mentioned a lot and I’ve been wanting to watch it for a while now. Barely know anything about it, though. It’s a sci-fi anime and supposedly has lesbians?

I’m downloading the 80’s version. I got nostalgic the other day watching a documentary on tv about president reagan and how he wanted death rays in space and it reminded me of this series and its orbital laser platform lol.
