Yeah, I think by the time the game was in the arcade it also was released in neogeo CD with an arranged soundtrack, hard one to find.

no, I dont think it is defective, probably neogeo started with the arranged soundtracks with their next generation games, art of fighting 2, KOF 94, etc.
