ah bhed primers?

I’m having trouble finding al bhed primer XII. I mean I looked through all the guides online and I know it’s on the platform above O’aka, at the north of Moonflow, or whatever that place is called. However I just can’t seem to find it. I mean I have button mashed that area for hours and I can’t seem to find it. Is it just me? Can it be that I have a glitchy game?

It should be on the north wharf, "on top of the ramp to the right of him (O’aka)"-the official strategy guide. Must be there, unless you collected it another time through and used an al bhed compiler. Or collected it this time already. Check your key items.

It’s my first run through of the game (apart from the time when I accidently deleted the file, so I had to start over again) and I checked the key items. It’s not there. I probably button mashed the wrong place then, from the sounds of it.

It did! I went to search the area again and I manage to find it. I had misinterpreted the faq’s I looked at.
In fact I just finished the game a couple of hours ago…

Congrats on finishing, I havn’t yet….I go through phases of sporadic game play! It prolongs finishing! 😛

Anyway, Sorry to hijack, but on the topic of Al Bhed primers, can you find them in alternate locations after the original opportunity has passed? IE the Primer in the AL Bhed home, I forgot to collect ( 🙁 ), can I find it elsewhere?

Im thinking no, ive never seen them anywhere else, and I travel all over the map. But, if anyone else could help, it would be much appreciated. 🙂

no, until you get to the airship for the second time. however this only applies to 1-12(?). the rest…13-22, i think.. cannot be found once the you pass the opportunity. 1, 13, 14 can be found at the desert though, if you missed it. check out this faq http://alexandria.rpgclassics.com/PS2/finalfantasy10/finalfantasy10_50.txt.

It’s easier just to learn the Al Bhed alphabet by heart, then you won’t need any primers.
