Is it a good game??what about the graphics?

If you can get it on GBA instead, do so. It isn’t bad at all on PSX. The delay to open the menu is almost game-breaking, but otherwise it plays just fine. It’s the only way I’ve ever played V.

I’ve only played the GBA version, and I must say it has some nice graphics.

Are you sure about the graphics….?
I hate When I get lost at rpgs and need a walkthrough……i hope its a good one anyway

The graphics on the PSX release are the super famicon graphics as far as I am aware, and there is nothing "wrong" with those at all. You might be the type who is spoiled by PS2 generation graphics, but that’s a debate for another thread entirely.

You hate when you need a walkthrough, but you play Final Fantasy games? Sorry, but that made me laugh quite robustly 😉

V is a good one. I’ve ragged on it in the past, but a replay is definitely on the cards. Hear me, Agent? I said it. I mean it.

I never needed a walkthrough for any FFs. Except for FF X-2 (to get it at 100%) and for FF XII (to know how the hell I can get that stupid Zodiak Spear).

Other than that, I never needed a Walkthrough for any FF game.

I was of course referring to getting every secret, sidequest, etc. Yeah, that is a seperate goal than just finishing the story, so yes, you got me.

I found a lot of secrets by myself too. Without any guides. Most secrets in FFs are possible to find without the use of walkthrough except for the 2 games I mentioned.

There is one particular part in FFV that’s notorious for giving the player absolutely no clue as to what to do next. Apart from that, a walkthrough probably won’t be needed.

And I would definitely go for the GBA version or fan-translated SNES version over the PSX version. Apart from having horribly load times, it also has a very mediocre translation.
