The Freedom to Feel (Poem.. yes I know it doesn’t rhyme)

Passionate embrace, filled with life
Soaring upon beliefs of existence
Alive in the reminiscence of you
Hearing the sweet whispers of everlasting love

Crashing upon a shore of forgetfulness
Living in a soul of an untouched world
Inside an essence of a presence sweeter than I
Sweeter than love itself

Lie in this peaceful paradise
Take me to places unimaginable
Left in a sense of purity
Peace lay upon my shoulders

Crying in a fear of joy
Laughing once and renewing a soul
A being farther than myself
I wrap myself in you

Becoming greater than life, than love
A whole new person created within a moment
Pride yourself in an emotion so contradictory
Here I am in a sense that you won�t feel again

Bliss in a transformation of emotions
Crashing into myself, I find you
Holding onto a piece of immortality
You reach out for my hand

Keep me safe, keep me here
I shall not fear any longer with you
Finding a place to rest my head
I have a place for a new heart

Renewing my spirit
Regenerating the soul I thought had left me
Crossing lines and borders
Exploring a place I never knew existed

Discovering new parts of me
Believing I am all I can be with you
Soaring to your wings of faith
I breathe a sigh of bliss and relief
