Shenmue Fans!

Hiya, is there any Shenmue Fans Out there?

I was playing the 1st Shenmue again last night, brings back the good memorys of the Dreamcast!

Whats it been? 7 years…? …Ryo and Shenhua have been standing in a cave staring into each others eyes now for 7 years waiting for a sequel… Helas nothing seemed tobe comming, and even if the imfamous Shenmue 3 did come out i’m sure it’ll be rushed and horrible, with what was ment tobe 7 games woth of story jammed into 1… Sega seems to specialize in making crap these days…

The first 2 were stunning, up for best games ever IMO

Shenmue was amazing, its a shame my Dreamcast doesnt work properly anymore.
Didnt they release Shenmue 3 for the Xbox….Im not sure myself but I aint buying those pieces of eh-hem, anyway.

Shenmue 2 was way better in my opinion. Thats saying something too, because I thought that the first game was unbelievable. You can score it pretty cheap for xbox, although I’m not sure about the quality of the port as I imported the PAL version. Definitely check it out 🙂

I’m still in the process of beating the second one. But I’m loving every minute of it. It’s like, GTA but not GTA at the same time. Besides you know, stealing cars and stuff.

Well written. But I would much much rather watch a playthrough of that game than actually play it.

My friend is the same way with some games. He’d rather watch me play it then play it himself, but I find it fun either way. I watched my brother play it before I played it myself and he watched me play any Final Fantasy game (he made me play it when I was doing something else because he wanted to see what happens next sometimes).

One of the best under appreciated games out there. Truely sad that a sequel may never surface. I saw a trailer to the Shenmue online game (http://youtube.com/watch?v=uEZ3Ksk2428) that was suppose to come out for pc and began frantically trying to find out more info on the game thinking it was Shenmue 3. After so much research in one day I realized that a sequel may never come into fruition. I’m a die hard Sega fan, but honestly at that point I wanted to boycott Sega. I began hoping that Sonic Unleashed failed (and I’m a seriously hugge Sonic fan). I mean come on now… Finish the damn game already! Its one of the most highly anticipated games that may never see the light of day 🙁 So sad…
