emotive music

This is similar to some other topics, but I’m trying to make this a more pointed question: what are the most emotive tracks from the most emotive game soundtracks you can think of?

I’m looking to download some music that is inspiring because it transports you to a feeling or an image. Help me find some really emotive music soundtracks and songs.

Try "KOSMOS~Hepatica" from Xenosaga EPIII,it’s very beautiful choire song.
For me it make me feel calm whenever I get mad at something.:)

"Ikete koso" vocal song from Kabutomushi Ouji Mushiking, is very good too!

well for me…….i find "X vs Zero" from Megaman X5 and the ending theme of Megaman III (NES) invoke a feeling…

IMHO, i find the opening theme of secret of mana, "fear of the heavens", incredibly beautiful…i can listen to it for hours…

hmm… well, there ‘s a lot of music from video games that makes me emotional… ^^;; but particularly the music from Chibi-Robo that you hear when you go to the past… that music makes me feel happy, yet sad at the same time… yeah, I dunno… but I love it. <3

A lot of kingdom hearts tracks tend to fall into what you’re asking for.

There’s "Small two of pieces" from Xenogears, a wonderful song but more emotive after playing the game^^
There are of course all FF songs

the piano versions of Aerith’s theme and Eyes on Me, on FF7 and FF8 Piano Collections, respectively. They are some pretty mellow stuff.

Oh,also "communication breakdown" from Xenosaga EP 1 and "God sibb" from Xenosaga EP 2 are very great invoke songs too.

I would have to say songs from Metal Gear Solid Series are the best soundtracks , mostly the ones composed by Harry Gregson Williams, creating an almost "filmic" quality to the game. (spoiler alert!) Especially during the scene with Emma Emmerichs death in Metal Gear Solid 2, and with the hand shake between Snake and Octacon.
Also Tomb raider creates an evocative and emotional impact, the new orchestrated Tomb Raider legend, and Anniversary games show this well.
