Spider-Man’s costume

So hey, I was just watching the first Spider-Man movie on TV, on and off. I missed the part where he gets his costume and something was bugging me.

I forget, where does he get his fancy costume from? Does he make it, like he made the original dodgy costume? Or what?

Yeah, he makes it. I know its a little too nice for home made, but you have to remember, this is hollywood.

There are several stories about how he gets his first costume. One he makes, another one is from the arena guy cause he thinks his original costume sucks.

yeah, I suspected he made it, but it is indeed a bit silly how he’s like: I’ll make a crappy costume first, but now that my Uncle Ben is dead, with great power comes great responsibility so TIME TO SUDDENLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE AN AWESOME COSTUME.

The arena guy thing would make more sense. Is that what happened in the comics or something? Oh well, Spider-Man still rules. The Green Goblin looks too much like something from Power Rangers in the first movie tho.

the arena guy thing was indeed from the comics. originally, Peter was supposed to come back for more fights so he needed a better costume (and not one where his glasses were part of the eye holes).

I also agree with the green goblin looking like a power ranger… and seeing the trailers, it looks like Harry takes on the same costume… isn’t Harry supposed to be the Hob Goblin with an orange getup? Or is that just fuzzy memory?

I thought Hob Goblin was supposed to come first then Harry became the green goblin, but I could be wrong.
