Hi, I would like to request the Game Rip of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (Old PC/Mac Game, released 1991) I know we have a soundtrack for it, but it’s very orchestrated and different from the original style, in my opinion. Thanks!

I tottaly agree. Fate of Atlantis game rips are tottaly different from what should be, especially the "Room of the God Machine" track which should sound just like Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique -5th movement – (aka "Song du nuit du sabbat"), because it’s a variantion from this and just sounds like crap instead – differnt instruments… diferent feeling.

Here are the versions that already exist (or disapeared on the internet sometime ago)

#1 – A direct conversion from the Highland Productions’ midi through a regular Soundblaster AWE. Tracks: 22 / Bitrate: 160kbs / notes: include Crab Raft Remix (from Highland productions).

#2 – "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis – The Complete Game Soundtrack" / Author: Lundquist / Tracks: 24 / notes: people stated it’s far better than Dragoor’s den version. Source1: http://indyfoa.thefiddler.net | Source2: http://raven.theraider.net/archive/index.php/t-4204.html

#3 – Author: Roger R Holten / tracks 19 (later he completed the album with 21 tracks). Notes: As far as I remember this was a pretty decent version – too bad my computer had to be formatted 🙁 The tracks could be download in Soundfont Island (today is called soundtrack island) but they had to delete them in 2004. Since January 2008 soundtrack island has placed another version (ogg files) | Source: http://web.archive.org/web/20030530161427/http://s-island.mixnmojo.com/ | Source2: http://web.archive.org/web/20020627205553/http://stud4.tuwien.ac.at/~e9125985/IJC/Movies+TV/Soundtracks/FoA.htm

These are easy to find:

#4 – "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis – Game Soundtrack" / Author: Kenneth L Simonsen. Notes: This was the version you were talking about. http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/4230
#5 – Dragoor’s den -> http://www.draggor.com/music/vg_ijfa.asp
#6 – Soundtrack Island (ogg vorbis) – somebody placed a link here already, let me see: http://s-island.mixnmojo.com/fate.php
