im trying to register playonline..i need a damn credit card to complete..but i aint got one..is there a different billing method.

these damn companies need to realise that everybody that plays this game or wants to play dosnt have a damn credit card of some sort..shit..i wanna register..soo can anbody help..

I don’t have a credit card either, so I went and asked at my bank and they added a debit card to my account. The beauty about this, is it’s NOT a credit card, as it’s attached to my normal savings account. Add the fact it has mastercard added to it, which makes paying the monthly fees for FFXI easy. Go to your bank and ask if they have debit cards… or ask someone you know who has a credit card, and won’t mind helping you out.

Apart from that, I don’t know of any other way to play FFXI.

To elaborate further on what XD has said, both Mastercard and Visa offer Debit Cards that are accepted by PlayOnline for payment of FFXI’s monthly fees – they work like a credit card, but are not credit, because you can only spend what money you have physically deposited into the account. So as long as you keep the account’s balance up enough to cover the monthly fee, then there is no problem.

However, to get a Visa or Mastercard Debit Card, you do need to be aged 18 or over though.
