When i put a ps2 cd in my pc it does nothing, It will not show me any files or even acknowledge that a cd is in the drive.
Do i need some software to start it up?
(It works with ps1 cd’s)

For me, it’s work with PS1 & PS2 CD’s.
Maybe your computer can’t support the files from the CD?
If you want to rip the musics, get Cube Media Player 2, it rip many psx, ps2 and others games.

From everything I’ve heard, PS2 discs are basically DVDs–not CDs. I’m in I.T. and I don’t know how many times I’ve had customers complain that their CD drive was broke when they were trying to read a DVD in a CD drive. 🙂
