anyone know any tricks to making $$$ faster in this game? Never seem to have even close to enough(sounds like real life).

Triple Growth Weapon, like Cloud’s Appocalypse. And start making Mastered All Materias. They sell for like 1.4mil Gil each. And since you get a new one once you master them…

Apocolypse is found in the Forest that looks like a green mushroom after you defeat the Ultimate Weapon, only has three slots but like i Said has triple growth.

So if your strong enough to fight in northern cave without materia to defeat enemies you can make lots of money off "All" materia

Fight the magic pots and give them elixir (use w-item cheat to duplicate elixirs) they give you shed loads of AP

I think the best way I made gil was selling the ‘All’ materia once it’s mastered. Sells for like 1.4m gil if I’m correct.

The best way to earn Gil is to master Materia and then sell it. Don’t sell any Materia you only have one of, though.

The All materia trick is the fastest way to build up a huge cash reserve. If you sold the Apocalypse you are out of luck for Cloud’s triple growth. However, Cid has a lance with triple growth (Dragoon Lance perhaps?). And I believe that the All sells for 1,500,000 gil each. A small difference.

Also, you should be able to gain lots of gil from just fighting everything on the way through the game. Just plan on staying in an area for long stretches of time and gaining levels, thusly gaining gil. I never run too low on gil, since I’m always building up levels and winning various items. But then, I am a level hog.
