Finnish Troll Metal

I’ve… never really heard about it, until last night when my cousin let me listen to some. It’s actually pretty good, if you’re into metal and fantasy and stuff like that.

Has anyone else heard of it/have any recommendations of bands for this genre?

I think that at one point I read about it in some webcomic, when they mentioned it, but it’s totally new to me.

This is stupid. Anyone can invent a genre; If I perform Metal music with a giant orange suit and a glass of juice in my hand, does that make it Orange Metal? Or perhaps Juice Metal?

What you may be reffering to is actually viking metal…or how I prefer to call it: folk metal.
