If you could create your own FF game by combining different characters from different sequels, what would your party/ies look like?

Also, what elements of gameplay or system would you put together to make the game better or more suitable to your liking?

The characters from VII and VIII are the most similar, so I’d have to say the characters from those two games.

As far as gameplay goes, standard turn-based elements would be fine in my book.
