Hi. Im new here, and Im new with this game.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me whats up with the creature in giza plains / Starfall field during the rainy season. Its marked as an ally on the map, and it freaks me out to not know anything about it. Will it become oblivious later in the game?

I couldn’t find any other treads about this, but if there is, Im sorry.

It might be a Bannga…they are usually running around and will help out if you roll with them.

It’s a Garif. He doesn’t count toward your Garif bestiary entry though. The only one that does is in the Greensnake portion of Ozmone Plain.

I’ve never seen a Garif in Giza, only in Ozmone. Kill them when you get the chance, 2lp is worth it.

The War Chief is in Haulo Green and doesn’t count towards your bestiary entry. You can kill him though.

Yeah, I think the game counts these sort of non-allied types as an unofficial party member. If you kill them, you actually get a message in the Combat Log at the top indicating that they’ve fallen.

I’ll further confirm this: If you have any Ally: Any gambits they will activate when you get within range. I always leave ’em Floating 😉

You can’t kill the one that shows up as Green on the Radar, he is the War Chief. You can however kill the ‘Gariff Adventurer’ that is found in the area of Ozmone Plain where there are like 12 Wu’s and those two little retarded bunny things.

You can kill the war chief if you so choose it just doesn’t do anything. The Gariff is THE hardest journal entry to fill in for since only one shows up that counts in one place and only every once in awhile to boot.

But as for the Chief he shows up in Giza the first time through rain season a few places in Ozmone before and after you "offically" meet him usually near the village and once on a hunt. If he falls in either the Hunt or your first visit to the Village he speech changes. And let me say it is a pain in the Arse to keep him alive in the Hunt Ally any 60% less health Curja is a God send for that task.
