I like the Analog Sticks much more than the D-Pad. The D-Pad is too restrictive. It’s too difficult to go from one direction to the opposite fast enough. The Analog Sticks are a whole lot easier to manipulate. Plus, they allow for more in-between movement (the type needed in flying games).

Yes, Analog sticks are much preferred. Playing VII and Xenogears, it is always on my mind.

Depends what I’m playing. For normal Adventure, Platform, RPG games, Analog does the trick. For shoot em up like Point Blank and such, a gun is excellent. A joystik is good for flying games. All in all however, I love the Analog.

Both. I tend to switch to the Analog stick when my thumb start to hurt and then switch back after a while because my thumb isn’t hurting anymore and the analog sticks aren’t as precise as I wanted them to be.
