Okay, so I just bought this game a couple of days ago and I haven’t gotten past yensa sandsea thingy yet…in fact now I’m stuck there because I got silenced by those birds and nothing works to remove it!! I’ve tried to remove silence from Items, that misses and vox also misses…every single time!
Seriously..it’s messed up! I don’t even feel like playing it now *booho* =P so annoying! I’ve tried to kill Vaan, that doesn’t work either. And I think it’s stupid that status effects doesn’t go away when you save.
Has anyone else had this problem? or…well…I don’t know…=(=(

Eh, did you equip him with the Manufacted Nethecide thing? It gives +13 Magick Resist but a constant Silence effect. You can not Vox/Esuna/Remedy it.

Status effects do go away when you save.
Yeah, this is yet another case of not reading the writing on equipment you have.

Somebody said that I might consider putting this in the Charter thread, but noted that this problem wasn’t as common as the MP 0 drop. Still, after seeing this, this is going in the Charter, along with a general warning to read the description on accessories. Closing.
