Taking down the "king"

Okay, here’s the deal, My highest Lv character is Vaan, Penelo, and Basch……and I’ve got this crazy idea in my head that i can take down the Behemoth King…..with Vaan at Lv. 81 and a Deathbringer…..-_-
Is there a way to beat this thing like so? I mean, i have Basch w/ a Ragnarok….and i was able to kill the fafnir…..so…is there a way?

I’m almost certain I took this one down at much lower levels. If the other two characters in your main group are at least reasonably similar in level to Vaan, I don’t really anticipate any problems.

yeah, i beat him when my main party was in their 60’s i believe, and i never switched out any characters. although he’s definitely a step above fafnir, you really shouldn’t have any problems.

You can beat the Behemot King with your characters as they are. You just need a good strategy.

My idea would be cast invisble on the other two character besides Vaan and make sure they all have haste on, and just have one spam heals on vaan. That’s just my idea i’m no where near you in levels though so it may be futile but just an idea.

At your level your melee attacks should be all you need. It just may take some time since he’s got no much HP. Just set your gambit and set your guys to work. He’s a pushover compared to other marks.
