I just started Disc 2 on the PC version of FF7, I just beat the two-headed ice/fire boss on Gaia’s mountain. When I exit the cave and climb the last cliff face, a FMV sequence begins.
A few seconds into this sequence the game hangs and all I see is a black screen with a matrix of red dots all over it. My controller is unresponsive and my only option is to Alt+F4 to close the game.
Is anyone aware of a fix for this bug? It happened twice in exactly the same place, so it’s not a random lockup issue.
Any ideas? Thanks!
