I think he may be referring to the ORIGINAL Dragonball dub, released back in the 1990s before the Funimation re-dub:

As you can see from this intro, this version feat. a completely different soundtrack from the recent re-dub.
I know I have the song somewhere, but I was hoping if someone has come across a complete soundtrack of this dub…
Really, English anime soundtracks are hard to come across…
