I got to get this out of my system: out of the 3 announced bands only 1 is good, more than good, Fricking Brilliant.
Sadly this band is not the headliner because the headliner is My Chemical Romance which I’m hoping will come on stage after a super fast metal band and get a bad reception. Linkin Park’s also there and they’re guaranteed to get a bad reception, surprised they’re still going. The decent band is the almighty, NWOBHM band IRON MAIDEN! They should be the headliners, I mean what have the other 2 bands did that can even come near to comparison to Iron Maiden? I doubt anything. Even their latest album is a masterpiece and Bruce Dickinson can really sing, If I were to be 100% guaranteed to be going I’d be looking forward to seeing the Mighty Iron Maiden again, I saw them in December at Newcastle with some New scene small term Metallica wannabe band called Trivium who weren’t all that bad but weren’t at all brilliant either.
So what are your thoughts, ladies and gentlemen. I’m not gonna deliberatly flame a band or 2 to cause trouble, If I do it will be for the reason of my actual views and not fun.
