treasure chest items

i wish the treasure chests actually gave you good stuff as you progressed in the game. i was in the east section of lhusu mines (somewhere you can’t go unless you’re pretty far in the game) and was getting knots of rust or potions. who needs those? and 137 gil doesn’t cut it either, yuk. wish they would fix this and give us better things.

i dont mean to nitpick a great game but i agree.

What do knots of rust do? I’ve used them to attack some enemies
but they only do like 50 dmg. And you can’t sell em for crap either.

they can actually do a decent bit of damage…i’ve had them hit bosses for like 3000-5000….but they have a wide damage range like the axe/hammer

That also explains why Basch was doing only like 100 damage whenever
I gave him a hammer.

crap, no bites from the king fish, i’ll have to try to chum him and use bigger bait……..
