Great, I’ve been wanting to get a hold of the rest of the Tekken Tag soundtrack for a while. It’s interesting… there’s a "Namco Sound Team" version of the music, then the "direct audio" set, which is more interesting – sometimes a remix, and sometimes totally different (eg: "Name Entry" – the version by Satoru Kousaki is a brilliant sound and nothing like the "Namco Sound Team" version).

Name Entry is a great sound… I set it as my phone alarm 🙂 Reminds me a bit of some of the First of the North Star soundtrack on the Manga dub by Reinforced Records.

I’m pretty impressed by Keiichi Okabe’s stuff too – "Unknown", "Staff Roll", "Ogre"…

I heard somewhere that there was a gamerip of the arcade version of Tekken 5 and that it sounds different to the official Tekken 5 OST.
Can anyone confirm this?

They are remixed (maybe arranged?) versions of the soundtrack from the PSX port. http://www.chudahs-corner.com/soundtracks/index.php?catalog=NACL-1225

I am somewhat disappointed, because I prefer the original arcade themes.

I must say. Impressed with this. Keep up the good work and I look forward to Guilty Gear seeing as its one of my favorite fighters of all times.
