Okay, so I’ve been thinking for a while, trying to think of other game show formats that could possibly work here. And tonight, inspiration struck when GSN aired a repeat of Maury Povich’s revival of Twenty One.

Here’s the basics of how it works. On the show, they would lock both players in isolation booths with special headphones. They would ask them questions in turn and the two opponents would have no way of knowing how their opponents were doing. The object was to get to 21 as quickly as possible by selecting questions of point values ranging for 1 – 11, based on perceived knowledge of a particular category. After two rounds, both players would be given the opportunity to stop the game if they thought they more points than their opponent. It was a big money game show with potentially unlimited prizes if a champion could keep going.

I’ll update this posts with the rules in more details later, if people are interested in playing. This rules for this game are a bit more complex than Millionaire, but I think it could work. I think most of it will probably have to be conducted by Private Messaging. For right now, what I need is at least two people to say that they’re interested. The first two people to sign up will be the contestants. Please only sign up if you believe you can be available for a while, it’s not fair to your opponent if you make them wait too long for you.
