FFV Secret?

I have a question. Does anyone remember in the library in Zeza’s castle there is a book on the table that says something like "The secret to my power is that of a lancer and a mage".

So my question is what does this mean? I think it has something to do with white mage and the weapon "Holy Lance" anyone know?

Nothing as far as I know. That doesn’t rule it out though.

I always figured it was a piece of advice as to how to give skills.
I took it, and it was useful. Some bosses have some pretty mean attacks, but if I have my weak characters jump prior to them, they avoid damage.

Maybe I took it too literally. Helped me, though.
