The fags at GameStop prostituted FFXII out to me as if it were video game GOLD, and now it’s sitting God-knows-where in my room, with a matching gamesave on my memory card with about 12% of the game played.

"We can confirm today that the iconic character of Cid will in fact be returning for Final Fantasy XIII" stated a Square-Enix official who asked to remain anonymous. Cid has been a tradition in Final Fantasy games ever since the second and so it brings us great joy to bring back a character with this name for Final Fantasy XIII.

The official stated that this Cid (Read more about the history of Final Fantasy Cids (http://www.wontfindanythingaboutcidhere)) will be the first playable Cid since Final Fantasy VII (Read our five-star review (http://www.omgyourestillclickingthese)) and for the first-time ever will appear at the very beginning of the game. In fact, the character, tentatively named Cid Garrett, will be the main playable character of the game. Requests for any further information were denied at this time.

Final Fantasy XIII is slated to release on the the 1st of Octember, 2007.

Screw Cid, that half elf sweet looking chick in the trailers, as well as that sasuke from Naruto lookalike from Versus, they look way more fun to play then someone named Cid Garrett.

Mainly because they offer little to no challenge nowadays.
Without challeging gameplay, the storyline is closer to that of a children’s book.

FFIV-Cid airship engineer playable rather a nice chap too
FFV- Cid I think there is 2 a Junior and senior also scholars/Engineers get your airship running.
FFVI-Cid is a scientist and Celes’s father figure Very good person near the end.
FFVII-Cid Airship/Spaceship pilot swears worst then a salior but a good heart Playable one of my favorites by the way
FFVIII- Cid is a sientist and has such an accent like you wouldn’t understand little help in the end
FFIX- Leader of a country Airship enigneer and is a Ogolopo-Sp?- or frog for most of the game.
FFX- Cid is a Tough Desert leader and Bald like Mister Clean controls your airship
FFXI-Never played have no idea
FFXII-Cid is well a Villian with good intentions I think? Very intresting design for that one.

And yes, Cid is being mistaken for Odine here. Cid is headmaster Cid Kramer in that game, the headmaster of Balamb Garden and married to Sorceress Edea.
