Vivi’s fans?

Yes, but I think he was messed up in KH2.
He was pretty easy to like and I felt a lot of sympathy for him. He was my second favourite FFIX character next to Freya.

They bastardized Vivi in KH2. So while I was happy that he was in it at all, I hated what they did to him. 😛 And they frikken’ made him Pikachu when he should have been Crayon Shinchan. *shakes fist at Sqax*

As for the original, REAL Vivi, though…. he’s easily one of my favorite characters in Final Fantasy. And I think he’s got one of the most heartfelt stories in the game, too; probably one of the most heartfelt in the whole series for me.

I liked Vivi a lot in FFIX. He was perhaps the best character in that entire game. He was such a loveable little midget; innocent; strong; dedicated; naive and everything else.

Vivi is a mysterious character,because he have only eyes.We can’t see is face…He’s small too.But he can speek.

I don’t know. I like Vivi well enough, but he wasn’t anywhere near my favorite FFIX character and I generally consider him highly overrated. I was disappointed that he was the only FFIXer in KHII.

In FF,I like the Mogs too,they’re funny ^___^

Haha a really long time ago I had this really stupid Idea/Theory about Vivi
When I saw the trailer for FFIX I thought it was Cloud. wtf?
heres my stupid reasons why..
Cloud was injected with MAKO.
This made his eyes glow.
I thought "Oh, that must be Cloud with a hood on so we can’t see his face but we can see his glowing MAKO Eyes!!1111"
I told all my friends and they laughed at me.

LOL This reminds Me of when I played Kingdom Hearts 2.. Because I have never played final fantasy IX before and when I had to fight Vivi in the tournament thing i was like HELLO its a heartless in disguise!! LOL and then after the tournment i saw him walking around in the woods.. and i went to attack him but when the battle music dident start i kinda figured it out he wasnt one!

Same thing with Kuja.. LOL I dident know that was a man from the pictures I saw of him..

What do you mean he didn’t really impact the story? I may consider him massively overrated, but even I will give that he was of major importance to the storyline.

I have said that too boldly but what I mean is; What did Vivi do that couldn’t be done without him? Sure he took out Black Waltz no.3 ( and in style too ) Got Kidnapped in Dali, Marrying Quina, Self discovery in the Black Mage Village ( not to mention throughout the rest of the game too ) Vivi’s story only affected him and wasn’t pivotal to everyone else. Now flame me all you want but I realise there are holes in my points but its been awhile.

To say that a particular character’s story only influenced them and didn’t affect anyone else is to neglect the influence that particular character and their presence had on the behavior of others. Take Captain Adelbert Steiner for example. I don’t doubt that Steiner’s plot would have been significantly different it weren’t for the influence of Vivi. All of the playable characters in this game had an influence on the actions of the others. None of them were unimportant.

Hmmm well thats true, and I did forget about the whole Steiner/Vivi magic sword thing and how he treated him by his title, that I liked. I shouldn’t of said Vivi didn’t have an effect on anyone else I was trying to say he needed (more to the point I wanted )more of his own story with a role no one else could of filled. Plus I loved the way Eiko treated Vivi it was so cute.
