beat him, took me 30 min, he never killed a single char, infact didn;t take ne below 2k. The lovely chap fell victim to Shiva, Thundaga (triple), and Quez(don;t ask me to spell the GFs name)

I found the battle to be quite a challenge, but his summon power is completely worthless. Possibly my least summoned GF by the end of the game, along with Siren and Carbuncle.
His junk shop, haggle, and call shop abilities are necessary on Disc 4, though, so it would be in everyone’s best interest to get him.

It’s Quezacotl — the ancient Mayan (or is it some other South American tribe) great winged god of thunder.
From my understanding, it’s an Aztec god; also known as the Serpent Bird god. They believed in a prophecy that one day, Quezacotl (properly spelled as Quetzalcoatl) will one day come in human form with silver skin. But I don’t believed it had any relevance with any elements.

I thought it was Mayan. That’s what my Spanish book said anyway, But you can never trust the Spanish books( not a racial comment )

And it appears that I mixed up my history. I mixed the history of the Mayans and the Aztecs :P… Just looked it up myself and read that the Aztecs were the ones that were to live on the land that has the eagle (or some kind of bird) sitting on a cactus with a snake in its beak, not the Mayans.
